Kentucky in October

When I drove through Kentucky in October, on a week of vacation after teaching a computer class to my fellow revenue agents in Atlanta, I found it hard to get any music on the road other than rap, hip-hop, and country. My personal preference is 80's, and I got lucky a few times and managed to find mirror stations to the one we have here in Seattle. (All owned by the same company.)

Of course, I don't think that they have any WBRS like stations in Kentucky. On the other hand, if you happened to drive through Pigeon Forge in the southeast corner of the state (before you get to the Great Smoky Mountains and the Cherokee Nation,) you have Dollywood, Lisa Mandrell, a number of gospel music halls, and surprisingly, a number of permanent resident bluegrass groups.
