Emperor Norton / Wake Up the Earth photos

I posted a bunch of photos from Wake Up the Earth, including several of Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band, aerial performances by clara_girl and frobzwiththingz and klingonlandlady, other bands, dancers and people and booths and kids and stages and murals and stuff. Also posted on facebook, and I'll upload them to my flickr account bit by bit too.

Soon: Photos from Somerville Open Studios. I got a few on Saturday but mean to get more on Sunday.

Bonnie Rovics was the organizer? I'll be damned... I knew her way the hell back when; haven't seen her in like 15 years.

Yeah, that's how I felt, though I had only not seen her in like 3 or 4 years ... 'til she got up on stage to announce Emperor Norton's, and someone introduced her as the festival organizer. exoterica used to live with her before she moved to California, which is how I met her (though I'd actually already heard her brother's music since he'd sent some of it to WBRS).

Did you shoot that picture through a plastic screen or a mesh of some kind? The rainbow artifact is hard to identify, but I'm guessing it isn't a digital artifact.
I wish I could have seen the show.

It's just sun glare on the lens, which I got for every photo where I zoomed in a lot (Rowan's theory is that extended the lens past the shading of the camera body). Some pictures got ruined by it, but others looked cool so I kept them.
