Arlo? How common a name is that? I know someone who used to date an Arlo. I think he went to Mudd.

I mean, I guess there are probably a lot of aging hippies out there, so maybe it isn't actually that uncommon, but still. Arlo!

Couldn't tell you; I've never met him as I didn't go to Mudd and the friend was dating her now-husband by the time I met her. But I can ask her. He looks to be the right age and about the right build for what I know of her type ;)

I haven't actually ~met~ Kim Wallmark, but I do know the name :).
How are you connected to this group of people? Is it through AY, through some other DaP/Mudd connection, or something else entirely?

Kim I knew through digiclan & DaP, and Arlo only indirectly through her. I'd never met him and they both dropped off my social life until they reappeared at keturn & tornadogrrrl's house. Those being two people I know through completely different connections, who happened to get a place together in Portland.

This year he still fears he doesn't know what he's doing, but he's more practiced. He's looking to break out a bit, booking gigs at bigger places like the Fels Planetarium at the Franklin Institute.

This is completely fascinating.

I thought that this comment was a joke I didn't get, maybe trading on the fact that Arlo seems to be named for a singer. But then I went to this person's blog, and it appears to be a very large post of spam.

I have no idea what to make of this. Why post spam in a personal journal rather than in comments? Is the advertising strategy to try to attract people the same way that it lured me in?
