As vet students, we've had multiple opportunities to try to convince classmates to name their animals after muscles. Omotransversarius is a fun one, but it somehow doesn't seem to fit for bunnies (we came up with the name for a hedgehog). Maybe Brachiocephalicus for a bunny.

Not only have I known an actual cat with that name, but also a human who calls herself Cat 5.

I did not name my current cat, mzrowan did. She's a computer geek too, but she went with a Canadian naming source instead :) I did name one of the cats we had in high school, Sneed - which was a partly Thneed (from the Lorax) and partly derived from Sna`i, Hebrew for squirrel - both due to his extremely fluffy tail, bigger than some entire cats.

I suppose if I was going to name a bunny, it would have to be Forkbomb.
