hey, I got to ask.. if I just select AIM and leave the box blank, why does it ALWAYS take me to your journal?

Huh, I had never tried that, so I had no idea. But you're right, it does always go to me. I have a theory: I have no AIM address listed here, so I fit the "blank" search. There are many other people on LJ who have no AIM address, but it has to pick one. I think it may just search beginning at the lowest user number, and give you the first hit. I'm user #1439, so maybe all the 1438 users with lower numbers do have AIM names listed, and I'm the first that's blank.
