"The Baucus bill" doesn't exist yet, it's what the Senate Finance Committee is working out, which as I said is getting a lot of press, but should be made irrelevant if possible.
The whole point of this excercise is to prevent the "Baucus bill" from becoming law. We know it's going to be lame, if it ever gets completed, but I'm avoiding paying much attention to the details of its lameness.
