My first memory of you is you sitting at the coffee table in the living room of the ranch (probably post arisia?) when there were lots of people over. I remember trying to take special note of what you looked like as you were flagged in my brain as long dark hair, short, friend of kit, and that also brought up Corwin, so I was trying to make sure I could tell the two of you apart if I met you again.
I have absolutely no idea when I met you for the first time. I suspect it was ceelove's fault. I do remember you dragging me to my first live Moxy Fruvous concert, after I'd just spent the day helping four different friends move from four different locations into one shared house and all I really wanted to do was curl up on the floor and not move for a very long time.
Nope, it's the other way around - I met her because of you :)
I first met you at Homeport's Natick housewarming party, August 10th, 1996. I remember you dancing by the swimming pool. If I have to pin responsibility for meeting you on someone, it'd have to be yix. I'd been hearing about you from her for a long time, and really wanted to meet you - if it weren't for that, I might not have paid as much attention to you at that party. Or perhaps I would have anyway. But yix was a large part of why I went to that party, anyway.
I definitely remember dragging you to your first früvous show - that took some real effort! I don't know why I tried so hard, but when you quietly showed me the CD you'd just bought, with a smile on your face, I knew it was worth it :) It was when I invited you to come to that show that you first told me about cee, who'd been trying to get you to see them. Then we both finally met her in person the following spring, when she flew up for a früvous show at Sanders Theater - and that was the first time we saw Eddie From Ohio.
That's okay, I'm entertained anyway :) Were you able to tell us apart the next time?
Your first memory of me is about a year later than my first memory of you. I didn't really meet catness until the fall of 1995, and didn't start hanging out at the ranch until that winter. But my first memory of both of you is seeing you at a party at Arisia '95 - January 1995.
My friend from high school went to the far off land of Brandeis. Home of the Massachusetts Jew. (I mean that in a shout-out happy passover, non-offensive way. i love judaism, thank you.) At this place called Brandeis, my friend met a 'cos.' She called me to tell me of this 'cos' cuz she wanted to. specifically, i remember her telling me that he walks around sans clothes and eats sushi. While, neither of those two things appeals to me in particular... together in a 'cos' they make a cool boy. Now, 'cos' was on this way down to the land of monuments, where i was staying. My brandeis friend told me 'cos' was going to drive from the land of monuments to the land of boredom and gloom. Concidentally, it was time for me return to the land of boredom and gloom for winter break. 'Cos' arrived in the land of monuments, and he was very non-threatening. Not that I am easily threatened. He stayed the night, arrived very late because he had a show to go see, and i was underage. the next day, he drove me to the town of germans to see his friend. then we left the town of germans during rush hour. An hour or so away from the town of germans, we had to go back to the town of germans as 'cos' forgot something important. So important, i have forgotten what he forgot. Then he proceeded to drive me to the land of brandeis and to the land of boredom and gloom. it was a long ride, and i got to spend some quality time with my new friend 'cos'
And then they lived happily ever after.
ps. cos, i went to the nields show at that place in harvard sq last month. was thinking i might see you there, but no dice.
I met you last year at a Hot Food's party. I believe you had someone like Beth or Miranda on your lap at the time. I remember thinking "oh, wow~! Look at his hair...*drool*"
oh- ok ok ummmmmmm well i sent wbrs a copy of my first cd, SKIN... with a little postcard that asked opinions and/or thoughs... and this here cos said the thought it was a great cd, and asked if i would ever be interested in doing a performance there. i was. i did. and i say the man in person... cheerful, bouncy cos, and bagels... who's car had been the victim of an over-sized vampire attack... cos and my silliness blended well, and he (the crazy nut he is) liked my music (the weirder "out-there stuff more of course), and my silliness, oh and probably my ass ;) :P... enough to come to almost all my shows, help me book them, start out, introduce me to people, and be one of my closest friends...
and this one time... cos let me say nipple box on his radio show! :)
Let's see. I met you in my second year of Hampshire, at Arisia, so January 1999. You were with a bunch of Andy's friends and we went to the mall food court for dinner.
We met online first when you were sort of reconnected with gweepnet, and we got to playing the "who do you know" game. We decided it might be nice to play that over dinner, so we met at Vinny Testa's in Natick, about halfway between where we each were at the time. At Vinny Testa's, your meal is on the house if they draw your table number out of a wine bottle... I had a "nobody ever wins this" at the ready, but we won! :)
I first met cos at my new members' meeting for BRS in the fall of 1997. He gave his spiel about live music with lots of chirps and shoulder-shrugs, and I found it intriguing enough to ask him about it, but I never did start live music training! Must be because I never spent enough time at BRS ;-). So cos, one guess - who am I?
Hi, I would like to have my own livejournal, but I don't know anyone who have this. They want an account code. Can you help me and send an e-mail to jfrioux80@hotmail.com Thanks a lot.
Are you ever gonna get an LJ account? Even if you don't post entries here, you could use it to post comments. Email me if you need an invite code, my address is in my userinfo.
Cos, is there anyone you've not met? What an intriguing person you must be...and quite a ladies man it seems! Your legacy will travel the realms of thought and memory by the bardic traditions...what an honor!!!!
YIPE! Ok you are correct, you have not met me. So there is quite possible one human in this world who has not had the distinguished opportunity to have met you! YET :)
I'm a boring, link-surfing kinda girl, Cos :) So somehow through a barrage of links I found you. I thought your pic was funny and says a lot about your personality, so I started reading. Then I found the link to your friend who has begun the "I remember the first time I met Cos" memory lane. And I knew that anyone with such a lenghty list of stunning comments and adorable women was someone I wanted to say hello to. *shrug* What can I say? Just happens to be "one of those things."
Not a very entertaining story
