Four photos from a very old folder. Based on the date, I'm fairly sure I took them on the flight home to Boston from attending Minicon in Minneapolis with

silentmachine. But I can't find any record of that flight so I don't know what stopover city I might've gone through. Click on the image to see all four photos; do you recognize those bridges?

Edit: Commenters have identified the first bridge as the Throgs Neck Bridge and the second one as the Verazzano Narrows Bridge (both in NYC).

That looks to me like the Verrazanno Narrows Bridge.

Yeah, I was thinking a NY bridge. My first thought was Tappan Zee but it doesn't have the intervening land mass.

Which bridge do you mean, the one in the first two photos or the one in the last two photos? I think the one in the first two has been identified as the Throgs Neck Bridge which probably means the second bridge is also in NYC.

Sorry---I had scrolled down to the last picture and was looking only at that, not realizing that the earlier pictures were not all the same bridge. So I meant the bridge in #4 (which is also the bridge in #3). I believe the foreground in your picture is the Staten Island end of the Verrazanno.
