(When he was about eight he wrote and illustrated a book about the "Smuggy Bunnies" and the myriad ways in which they -- unintentianally -- arranged to depart the mortal realm... Still many of my friends remember him maily from this incident...)

I saw the sequel in London -- hysterical. I especially liked the Harry Potter one, partially because it took a bit to figure it out.

Those are hilarious. I might have to buy those books, only I will have to be very, very careful to make sure my kids don't see them. I can just imagine my son asking "Daddy, why does the bunny have a corkscrew on his head?" There is just no good way to answer that question when asked by a four-year-old.

Someone sent the first of these books to Roommate M, who's one of those dress-in-black, speak-in-monotone people even when she's happy. It actually made her laugh. I will have to find the sequel and bring it home for her. :)

That's funny - you friended me, around new years I think. I didn't know who you were, so forgot about it. I don't know if we've ever met or talked or anything, but I am curious, so I turn the question back to you :-)

(It sounds like you just noticed you had friended me, didn't remember doing that, so without looking too carefully at your userinfo, thought that I friended you. I'm amused :)

Oh, and hi! I didn't friend you back because my friends list is mostly my way of keeping track of who I know (plus a very small number of "wow, I really want to read this LJ regularly"). I pretty much don't post friends-only, so you're seeing everything interesting here.
