mzrowan plans to sell this house, and I want to stay here. My favorite option is to have a friend buy the place from her and keep me as a renter, though I'm also considering buying it, and could buy it half & half with someone.

A block and a half from the Harvest coop (and summer farmers market) in Central Square, very short walk from the red line, the Middle East & TTs, Toscis, the Dance Complex, and a host of other Central Square stuff. Large kitchen, two large bedrooms and one small one on the first floor, plus half a basement finished with a second bathroom and three rooms (one of which could be a bedroom).

Might you want to buy it and have me stay here, or know anyone else who would?

If you do end up buying it and choosing to rent out a room, I think twirlingtulip might be interested and I could pass on the info. I'm guessing buying isn't an option for her right now, though.

If I buy it alone I'll have to rent out two rooms. If I buy it half and half with someone else, then we probably wouldn't need to rent out any. Who is twirlingtulip?

It's a condo-ized 3-family, this is the first floor unit (which also gets half the basement).

I don't know about buying, but I know wired_lizard is looking for a place to rent these days...

*nod* Finding people to rent this place would be very very easy, but buying it on my own would suck. What I'm looking for is someone who wants to *buy* (or co-buy) who I would enjoy living with. May not happen, but it would be the best thing for me.
