Austin next week?

Do I know anyone in Austin who may have somewhere for me to stay for any or all of July 16-20? (Wednesday through Sunday of next week)

I am pre-registered for Netroots Nation and very much want to go, and I can get a free flight with my frequent flyer miles, but I don't think I can spend on a hotel right now...

I got a flight, a cheap motel, and a hope of finding someone at the conference with spare floor so I can cancel the motel after a day or two :) Because I got the flight on frequent flyer miles I didn't get to choose the perfect flight times, but it does mean I have some free time in Austin. What're you up to this Wednesday, and Sunday?

Hmm, I'd heard about that site but never tried it and didn't think of it.

I very very strongly prefer either someone I know (and at whose place I can leave some of my stuff during the day), or someone attending the same conference. If I can't find either of those but come up with something else... I'll be ambivalent. Trying to effectively attend a conference while staying with a stranger who isn't attending it sounds troublesome - might work out well, might not.
