My Report on State Senate Candidates Forum

Tomorrow, Tuesday April 13th, is the primary election to select a Democrat for the state senate district formerly held by former Cambridge City Councilor Anthony Gallucio. It starts in Allston/Brighton, goes through the middle of Cambridge, a bit of east Somerville, then all of Charlestown and Chelsea and parts of Everett, Saugust, and Revere.

Six candidates are running in the Democratic primary. All of them attended a candidates forum in Central Square a few weeks ago.

I went, took notes, and posted about it today. Read if you want to know more about these candidates. And pass it on to people you know in this area.

Are you purposefully not reposting this in davis_square? (I wouldn't blame you one way or the other, I'm just wondering if it was on purpose or not; also, it took me way too long to figure out I'm not in that district ;P)

I thought of davis_square, but the district's bit of Somerville is way on the other side of Somerville so I didn't. It wasn't a clear-cut decision, I felt a bit ambivalent about it :) I did post about this in centralsquare, which is where the forum was.

Gah, I really need to get around to registering, in case one of these surprise elections happens in my district. Thanks for the reminder that stuff happens even when it's not November.
