Host two cats for August?

Boston people: Anyone want to temporarily adopt two cats for the month of August?

Both are black shorthairs, ages 3 and 5, healthy except that one has poor eyesight. Friendly and well behaved. They're in Cambridge now, and will be going to Allston in September, but their owner has to spend August living in places that don't allow cats.

If you host them for the month, you also get $400.

Might be possible-- I'll ask my roommate. She has a Bichon Frise and 4 cats, though. Would these two cats get along well with other friendly cats and a friendly small dog? Also, are they on any special diet? (Might be difficult to enforce because of the other animals and the free feeding stations for them.)

No special diet. They were getting along well with a strange dog at their last place in July. For the past few days they've been at a pet boarding place.

Unfortunately my roomie thinks 6 cats and a dog might be a bit too much for our apartment. :( I'll pass this on to people I know, though, and let you know if someone says they can take them.

Ok! A friend of mine named Mike and his girlfriend live in Cambridge and are interested. His email is mike@axiak.net. I have only told him that two cats need to be taken care of for the month of August and financial compensation is available-- I leave the rest of the details to you.
